- A personal desktop or laptop computer is required, with specifications outlined below. Most devices manufactured within the last five years should suffice. While mobile devices like phones and iPads can access the online learning system, certain activities necessitate a computer.
- An active, valid email address is essential for communication throughout your tenure at NeuAge Institute. By providing this email, you consent to receiving electronic notifications as per your Enrollment Agreement.
- Reliable, preferably high-speed internet access is crucial as our online courses incorporate various multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and interactive tools.
If you lack these resources at home, alternatives like local libraries or arrangements with friends or family may suffice, albeit with coordination challenges. Personal devices are recommended for an optimal learning experience. The online learning system utilized by NeuAge Institute is called Brightspace. The preferred browser for NeuAge Institute studies is Google Chrome. Specific requirements are detailed below.
Brightspace Requirements
Certain critical functionalities within Brightspace, such as accessing courses or viewing content, may be impaired if the prescribed operating systems, browsers, and configurations are not adhered to. To ensure optimal performance, please review the following specifications for your computer or device:
- Ensure that cookies and Java are enabled, particularly for the Brightspace site.
- The latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge are mandatory. Chrome is the recommended browser for Brightspace use at NeuAge Institute.
- For Android devices, OS 5 or higher is required, along with the latest version of Chrome.
- Windows devices should run on Windows 10, accompanied by the latest Chrome, Edge, or Firefox browser.
- Apple devices necessitate the latest major iOS version with its latest update, or the previous major iOS version with its latest update. Safari bundled with the device must be utilized, or the latest version of Chrome for iOS can be used.
