Transfer Credit Policy

Academic Misconduct Policies

NeuAge Institute (NAI) is committed to recognizing prior learning achievements while ensuring academic integrity and consistency across all programs. Transfer credits allow students to receive credit for coursework completed at other accredited institutions or through verified professional experience, provided these meet NAI’s academic and programmatic standards. The evaluation of transfer credits ensures that students’ prior learning aligns with the learning outcomes of the courses or programs for which credit is sought.

To maintain the integrity and quality of NAI programs, transfer credits are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Students must submit the required documentation, including official transcripts, course descriptions, or other relevant proof of prior learning, as outlined in NAI’s Transfer Credit Policy (see Credit Exemption Form and Transfer Credit Appeal Form). All decisions are documented, and students are informed of the final outcome in writing. If a request is denied, students have the right to appeal the decision following the procedures outlined in the Transfer Credit Appeal Policy.

Eligibility and Process

Transfer credit eligibility is determined by ensuring that:

  • Prior coursework was completed at an appropriately accredited institution or through an accepted foreign equivalent (listed in the International Handbook of Universities).
  • The content, learning objectives, and assessment of the prior coursework are equivalent to the NAI course for which credit is being requested.
  • The student provides all required documentation, including official transcripts, syllabi, or relevant evidence of prior experiential learning.

Transfer Credit Requests

Students who wish to transfer credits must:

  • Submit a Credit Exemption Form with supporting documentation prior to course enrollment.
  • Provide official transcripts or other verifiable evidence of prior learning (e.g., professional certifications, work experience documentation).
  • Respond to any additional requests for documentation during the review process.

Appeals and Exceptions

Students may appeal denied transfer credit decisions by submitting the Transfer Credit Appeal Form within 10 business days of receiving the decision. Appeals are reviewed by the Academic Affairs Committee, which makes a final determination. Exceptions to standard transfer credit rules are rare and require clear justification and documentation.

Disclosure of Transferability

Credits earned at NAI may not automatically transfer to other institutions. The acceptance of transfer credits is at the sole discretion of the receiving institution. This disclosure is published in the Academic Catalogue and on NAI’s website.
